Where's the beach? Erosion claims another victim -- Sag Main Beach, 3/3/07. We better hope for smaller crowds this summer, or there will be waiting lines for a spot on the sand...if there's any sand left!

Erosion is the main enemy for beaches. Yet I find a narrow and small beach more appealing than a big and overcrowded one. Anyway great picture. It could stand comfortably in one of the spots of the new Saatchi Gallery.

The line between beach and dune is difficult to define in the field. Over any significant period of time, sand is always being exchanged between them. The drift line ( is one potential demarcation. myrtle beach realtor
