What a difference a month makes. Just a little over a month ago, sailboats where plying the waters of the Sag Harbor. (See January Sail.) Yesterday, however, it looked as though you could walk clear across Noyac Bay to Shelter Island. (I didn't test that theory.) This Photo was taken from Short Beach on February 16, 2007 at about 4:30 p.m. North Haven is on the right, Shelter Island is the land mass along the horizon.
