View Article  The Atlantic Ocean, Briefly
My blogger friend, Jennifer, wrote a thoughtful post about the ocean on her blog Goodness Graciousness. Since I had a little video of the Atlantic Ocean shot at Sagg Main Beach a month ago, I couldn't resist posting a bit of it here to complement her thoughts.

For all of you Sag Hamptonites who love the ocean as much as Jennifer, feel free to return here for a taste of the Atlantic, anytime you're away from the ocean and missing it.

Sometimes I read something and am so struck by its "rightness," that I just have to share it with everyone I know. That happened today when I read a column in the March 1, 2007 edition of The Southampton Press by Anne Surchin, a Sag Hampton-based architect and writer. Ever wonder how Sag Hampton appears to those who are only visiting during the summer? Here's a link to a Brooklyn blogger's description of her family's summer in Sag Harbor and environs. It's good to know that they appreciate and enjoy some of the same things we do. Only The Blog Knows Brooklyn: Just Back From Sag
View Article  A Nice Little Film About Sag
Lauren, a former Sag Hampton resident and current art-blogger over at  Sketchlabc brought this charming little film by Amanda Switzer to our attention. My hat's off to Ms. Switzer whose camera work successfully captures  much of the charm of our little village. In the film, commentary is offered by a fishing guide, a gallery owner an artist and by Mariann and Marty Megna of Megna Glass. I would have liked  a bit more local perspective, but that's just being picky. Watch for the Big Blue Ball...it's nice to see it again. Enjoy!
